“We all must do what Christ did. We must make our experiment. We must make mistakes. We must live out our own version of life. And there will be error. If you avoid error you do not live.” Carl Jung in CG Jung Speaking
This morning on the beach in Charlestown, Rhode Island, for the annual “brrr, this is cold” Easter Sunrise worship (photo below), I thought of the above quote from Jung. I’ve always appreciated these words as they both give me pause and courage in living out life.
And then there is this from St. Paul.
“But because God was so gracious, so very generous, here I am. And I’m not about to let his grace go to waste.” 1 Corinthians 15:10 (The Message)
May you have good courage this Easter to live into the fullness of life.
Until next time,
My favorite beach in R.I. Nothing but the sea and the shore. I am from Westerly and now live in upstate NY. I had a Jungian analyst who helped me to regain my sense of smell & taste after a neurosis erupted in 2013 and I lost both of these senses. It was such a relief. Then in late 2019 an ear-sinus infection I once again lost these precious senses.
