Between 2017 and 2021, I hosted an audio podcast. The original title was “The Bishop on a Bike” podcast, but I later changed the name to the “Everyday Spirituality” podcast. That reflected the title of my first book by that name. In 2021, I shifted my energy toward writing on this platform and finishing my current book, and put the podcast into hibernation.
We’re Back!
This weekend I relaunched the podcast with a throwback interview from November 2020, when I spoke with Jason Smith, author of Religious but not Religious: Living a Symbolic Life.
I’m lining up some great guests for this new iteration of the podcast, and I think you’ll like this addition to the Notebooks Newsletter format. Artists, Philosophers, Theologians, Psychologists, maybe a Mystical Plumber too.
You can listen by clicking the play button above or on my website or search for “Everyday Spirituality” on your favorite podcast app. I expect to release one episode per month in between the written Notebooks newsletter. Don’t fret, the writing portion will continue.
James Hazelwood, author, bishop, and spiritual companion, is the author of Weird Wisdom for the Second Half of Life and Everyday Spirituality: Discover a Life of Hope, Peace, and Meaning. His website is www.jameshazelwood.net
By the way, did you know you can “unsubscribe” anytime? Just scroll down to the very bottom and you’ll see a tiny “unsubscribe” button underneath my name and location. I won’t be offended. I get it.
