My Dad always told me that “Money is stored servanthood. We give our service for it and others return service to us in order to obtain it. When people exchange money that has no ‘service’ in it, that is when it becomes toxic: like gamblers or stock traders, whose only aim is to get rich instead of serving others, or making something for someone. Money can represent a person and their service, or a product that they served to create, or nothing at all except pure greed. It’s the latter that you need to stay away from.”

This is an astute observation on your father's part.
